Representing surrogates and intended parents in assisted reproductive technology matters has been part of Theresa’s practice since 2002. She drafts and negotiates agreements and has established parentage in many Wisconsin counties. Theresa works closely with other attorneys, surrogacy centers and psychologists to ensure that all parties are well informed as they begin their surrogacy journey. Theresa is active in the State Bar of Wisconsin, serving as a past chair of the Children & the Law Section and on several legislative committees and serves on the St. Norbert College alumni board. Theresa is also a co-founder and board member of the Dawn E. Petersen Foundation, Inc., which supports families living with serious illness. |
